Dr Findy WillsDr Findy started as a small animal veterinarian in Newcastle NSW after graduating from University of Sydney with first class honours. She has since been servicing the area for the past 15 years. Let's Talk Paws Veterinary Behaviour Services was established in 2020 with the goal of teaching pet owners to better understand and manage their pet's behaviour by tailoring treatment plans to each individual via a range of pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical options.
Apart from supporting private patients, Dr Findy has extensive experience in shelter rehabilitation work since 2015. Seeing the result of misunderstood animal behaviour and damaged human-animal relationships first hand, Dr Findy furthered her studies in animal behaviour with the University of Edinburgh, UK in 2017 and currently holds a Masters degree in Clinical Animal Behaviour. Her current focus is helping shelter animals transition smoothly into their adoptive homes and strengthening the bond between shelter animals and their new owners during this fragile period. Dr Findy currently provides her consultancy services to RSPCA Behaviour and Animal Rehabilitation Centre in Somersby NSW and Greyhounds as Pets NSW. |
