Amelia KingAmelia has worked alongside Dr. Findy since 2018- empathetically assisting clients with their enquiries as a veterinary receptionist. She joined the team in 2020 and is now a valued training partner through her dog training business Leash and Learn Dog Training and Behaviour Coaching.
Amelia is passionate about strengthening the bond between dogs and their people, with a focus on building trust and mutual understanding. She holds a Certificate IV in Animal Behaviour and Training through the Delta Institute and brings a thoughtful, compassionate approach to every case. Amelia has a special interest in cooperative care—helping dogs feel more comfortable with grooming and veterinary handling—and is especially skilled at supporting owners of reactive dogs. She prides herself on using positive reinforcement methods and incorporates freework techniques to help owners observe and interpret their dogs’ behaviour more effectively. . |
